EWARNS™ (Early Warning And Risk Navigation Systems) is an innovative project by concerned Malaysian professionals who are dedicated to provide solutions of an early warning system or indication of possible threats from natural disasters to the environment. With the forecast and real-time indicators of risk levels, it is hoped that better management, co-ordination, and emergency response could be achieved to safeguard lives, properties and the environment.
EWARNS™ web-launching on 30th March 2005 marked a proud moment for all Malaysians, being the first and premier free-to-public early warning systems website for Malaysia. It is hoped that with continuous research and development efforts, coupled with the establishment of various databases for Malaysian conditions and actual on-site verification, EWARNS™ will benefit the general public in line with the 'Malaysia Boleh' spirit!
